We are pleased to welcome new BEF Ambassador – Mr. Dejan Gjorsoski (BEF Ambassador to the European Union).

Dejan brings more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of EU institutions, public policy, and strategic partnerships — spanning the European Commission (DG ENEST), the Mission of North Macedonia to the EU in Brussels, and senior consulting roles in international development and EU funding.

Dejan’s deep knowledge of EU enlargement, and cross-border collaboration — combined with his roots in North Macedonia and Croatia and his base in the Netherlands — makes him uniquely placed to champion the Balkans at the heart of Europe.

This role sits at the heart of what Dejan have spent 25+ years working towards: connecting the Balkans with European opportunities, building partnerships that create real change, and advocating for a region that has enormous potential and deserves a stronger voice in Brussels.
