MIHAI SEBE, NEW MEMBER OF THE BEF SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Mihai Sebe as the latest member of the BEF Scientific Committee. Dr. Mihai Sebe currently coordinates the European Studies Unit at the European Institute of Romania and is a lecturer at the University of Bucharest.

Author, co-author and coordinator of numerous publications, Sebe has focused mainly on: European integration, European enlargement, regional cooperation, the impact and role that Romania has in the EU, European affairs; the history of the European idea; the impact of new technologies on politics and society, etc.

Recently, he has been very active within the Three Seas Initiative publishing works such as: “The Three Seas Initiative: A Romanian Perspective From Riga to Bucharest” (2022) and „“East-West” Convergence through “North-South” Connectivity: A Decade of the Three Seas Initiative’s Contribution to the European Union” (2025), etc.. Notably, Dr. Sebe collaborates various national and international think-tanks and has a keen interest on Romania – Balkan countries relations and their European perspective.
