We are pleased to welcome Jadranka Ivanova, MSc. as Head of Environment protection and policy for Balkan Economic Forum. She is a lawyer with dual master’s degrees in public policy and management, as well as environmental science with legislation and management. She has over 26 years of professional experience in drafting legislation in compliance with the EU environment and climate change acquis.
From 2001 to 2018, she managed the National Structure of North Macedonia for EU negotiations for Chapter 27. Since her departure from the North Macedonian administration in 2018, Jadranka has been actively engaged in providing support to Albanian institutions on Chapter 27 EU screening and IPA III programming within the environment and climate change sector.
In parallel, Jadranka is a dedicated advocate in the civil society sector, holding the position of President of the Civil Society Organization – Institute for Policies in Environment and Climate Change (IPECC), based in Skopje, North Macedonia. Her involvement includes promoting good governance in environmental and climate issues, the EU integration process, Green Agenda implementation, and enhancing regional policies and cooperation in the sector.
