We are pleased to welcome Dr. Dimitar Eftimoski as Head of Macroeconomics and Economic Growth Analysis for the Balkan Economic Forum. Since 2010, he has held a full-time professorship and has undertaken academic visits to institutions in Slovenia, Slovakia, Austria, and the United Kingdom. He teaches Principles of Economics, Applied Economics, Economics of Development, and Social Research Methods. His research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals. In 2019, during an academic visit to the Faculty of Administration at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), he delivered lectures on the relationship between economic growth and quality of life. Beyond academia, Dr. Eftimoski has worked as a consultant and researcher for numerous international and national institutions, including the World Bank, UNICEF, UNDP, GTZ, the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, and the Ministries of Local Self-Government, Environment, and Finance of the Republic of North Macedonia. He is a member of the American Economic Association and the author of several books and textbooks, including the widely recognized Economic Growth.
