We are pleased to welcome Dr. Blagica Novkovska as Head of the Data Science and Business Intelligence for the Balkan Economic Forum. Dr. Novkovska She has been active as international consultant for UN, ILO, EC, WB, IMF, etc., in the field of macroeconomics and data analysis, and she provided marked contribution to the realization of multiple projects, providing analyses as a base for data driven decision, in great part concerning the development of Balkan countries.
Currently, she is Country Representative for the Caucus of Women in Statistics and Data Science and in the International Statistical Institute – Committee on Women. She serves also as a Member of the Assembly of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia (in two rounds, from 2020-2025 and 2025-2030), for which she produced recently several economic analyses for skills development, regional development and economic diversification.
